The exchanging of jerseys is a time-honored tradition in the World Cup, going back to 1931 when France enjoyed a 5-2 victory over England; the French players celebrated by asking the English for their jerseys as keepsakes.

Since that time there have been numerous examples of shirt swaps, perhaps none as memorable as the trade between two legends captured in the photo above: in a moment epitomizing camaraderie, England's Bobby Moore and Brazil's Pele exchange their uniforms after Brazil's 1-0 victory during the group stage of the 1970 FIFA World Cup.
